Coach Biography
John Boylan
John has just accepted the offers to teach Acting for Camera for both the undergraduate and graduate programs at the Department of Theatre at York University. John is a guest tutor at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London and teaches at the Ryerson Theatre School, Toronto. Previous workshops include the first ever on-camera class at The Yale School of Drama, University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theatre, New York University: Graduate Film School, The Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin; Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh, The Actors Centre, London, and in Africa for FIA (International Actor’s Federation). In Canada, for the National Screen Institute; Humber College; Workshops in the Performing Arts, Vancouver; Moving Images Group, Halifax and Queen’s University. With ACTRAWORKS he designed and delivered workshops in the Vancouver, St. John's and Halifax CBC studios. John is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada and acts in film and television including The Session, Land of the Lost, Dresden Files, Til Death Do Us Part, Rough. John is the founder and Director of Centre for the Arts.
