Since the Centre for the Arts opened in January, 2003 we have been screening short films on a regular basis. We have screened over three hundred films. This event is an opportunity to have your work screened, see the work of others and meet people with common concerns and aspirations.

The films come from everywhere: On The Fly, TIP, Humber, York and Ryerson Film Schools, CFC, Calling Card, Bravo!FACT and more.

There is a Q & A after the screenings with directors, cast and crew.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Centre for the Arts is a condition for addressing the needs of artists to have a place where their voices can be heard and their work can be produced. The Centre for the Arts is run by the people participating in and leading its projects, and provides a space for artists to study, practice and celebrate their work. We will promote and present work in theatre, film and video, music, dance and the visual arts. If you have an idea for a project, let's discuss it. The Centre is open to all who want to participate in the arts. Everyone is welcome.
