Understanding.

Understanding requires participation.

Practice first and then your brain will catch up with the idea. The ideas serve the practice.

When a scene goes well try not to remember what you did, just keep practicing well. Over a long period of time and you will have assimilations. The assimilations are the ideas that are your new habits.

From long repetition of proper practice develops habit.

Practicing well includes consciousness (the brain working well), and having the experience instead of trying to understand. That is key.

Within the word actor is the word act. And it is in this act of finding out that you learn.

You can’t understand before you have had the experience.
